Igmar obtained his LLB-degree at the University of Pretoria in 2005. After completing his articles and being admitted as an Attorney with right of appearance in the High Court during 2006, he had a vision of owning his own firm and on 2 April 2009, SBP Attorneys was founded.

Wouter obtained his LLB-degree at the University of Pretoria in 2008. During 2008, he was admitted as an Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer and founded SBP Attorneys together with Igmar Bester on 2 April 2009.

Petro obtained her LLB-degree at the University of Johannesburg (formerly RAU) in 2008. After completing her articles, she was admitted as an Attorney in 2010 and obtained her right of appearance in the High Court. She joined the SBP team in May 2010.
